学院介绍

南京大学医学院的前身为中央大学医学院，创建于1935年，1949年解放后改名为南京大学医学院，1987年经教育部（原国家教委）批准重建，成为教育部直属的第一所综合性大学七年制医学院。2012年入选教育部卓越医生培养计划-拔尖创新人才培养计划，目标是培养杰出的领导型临床学家和医学科学家，办学理念和人才培养独具特色。现有临床医学和基础医学一级学科博士点、临床医学和口腔医学专业博士学位授权点、临床医学和基础医学博士后流动站。美国科技信息所的ESI数据库最新统计结果显示：医学院临床医学学科进入全球排名前千分之一。

医学院以南京鼓楼医院、东部战区总医院（金陵医院）、南京市口腔医院、泰康仙林鼓楼医院和盐城市第一人民医院、苏州医院作为附属医院，并以南京市各专科医院作为教学医院，师资力量雄厚，现有工程院和科学院院士2名，长江学者特聘教授4名，杰青6名，国家级青年人才11名；教授187人，副教授280人，准聘副教授1人，准聘助理教授7人；省级以上人才项目30余人次。

医学院基础医学学科具有鲜明的转化医学特色，致力于揭示重大疾病发生的分子机制和建立疾病治疗的新策略。学院立足于国家遗传工程小鼠资源库、模式动物与疾病研究教育部重点实验室和江苏省医学分子重点实验室，横跨两个国家重点实验室，具备精良的科研设施、高水平的技术平台和跨学科交流的创新团队。以解决临床重大问题为导向，创建了各类疾病动物模型，在生殖与发育研究、病原微生物的致病机制、免疫代谢与衰老、肿瘤发生发展机制与生物治疗、工程医学、药学等研究领域已达到国际先进水平。在各类平台的支撑下，医学院基础医学科研成果节节攀升，基础医学学科师生每年发表高水平论文130多篇；获得国家级科技类奖励3项，省部级科技类奖励30项。近五年来基础医学师生获得国家重点研发及科技重大项目及课题26项，获批自然科学基金100多项，省级自然科学基金24项，有力地支撑了基础医学学科发展。

招聘岗位设置

南京大学医学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事基础医学领域各主要研究方向的优秀青年人才到学院工作。本次拟招聘准聘副教授和准聘助理教授总数4人（准聘副教授不超过1人），研究方向包括：

（1）细胞生物学

（2）新医药类交叉学科

（3）病原生物学

（4）免疫学

（5）人体解剖与组织胚胎学

About the School

Medical School of Nanjing University, formerly known as Medical School of National Central University, was originally founded in 1935 and renamed as Medical School of Nanjing University after liberation in 1949. In 1987, the school was rebuilt with the approval of the Ministry of Education (the former State Education Commission) and became the first seven-year medical school of comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. In 2012, it was selected into the Excellent Doctor Training Program of the Ministry of Education - Top-notch Innovative Talent Training Program, which aims to cultivate outstanding leading clinicians and physician scientists with unique educational philosophy and talent training. The school has first-level-discipline doctoral programs in clinical medicine and basic medicine, doctor's degree authorization programs in clinical medicine and stomatology, postdoctoral research stations in clinical medicine and basic medicine. The latest statistics from the ESI database of American Institute of Scientific information show that the clinical medicine discipline of the Medical School is ranked in the top one thousandth of the world.

The affiliated hospitals in Medical School of Nanjing University includes the affiliated Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, the affiliated Jinling Hospital, the affiliated Nanjing Stomatological Hospital, the affiliated Taikang Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital, the affiliated First Hospital Yancheng City and the affiliated Suzhou Hospital. The school also has the specialized subject hospitals in Nanjing as teaching hospitals and qualified teachers. Today, Medical School of Nanjing University has 2 members of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Sciences, 4 members of Distinguished Professor of Changjiang Scholars, 6 members of National Outstanding Youth, and 11 national young talents; 187 professors, 280 associate professors, 1 tenure-track associate professors , 7 tenure-track assistant professors and more than 30 people above the provincial level talent program.

The discipline of basic medicine in Medical School is characterized by translational medicine, which is committed to revealing the molecular mechanism of major diseases and establishing new strategies for disease treatment. It is based on the National Mouse Resource Bank, Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Model Animal for Disease Study, Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Molecular Medicine and two state key laboratories, with excellent scientific research facilities, high-level technology platform and interdisciplinary innovation team. Oriented on solving major clinical problems, the school has created animal models of various diseases, and has reached the international advanced level in the research of reproduction and development, pathogenic mechanism of pathogenic microorganisms, immune metabolism and aging, tumor development and biological therapy, engineering medicine, pharmacy, etc. With the support of various platforms, the scientific research achievements of basic medical sciences of the School of Medicine have been rising, and the teachers and students of basic medical sciences publish more than 130 high-level papers every year; they have won 3 national scientific and technological awards, and 30 scientific and technological awards at provincial and ministerial levels. In the past five years, teachers and students of basic medical science have won 26 national key research and development and scientific and technological major projects and subjects, and have been approved more than 100 national natural science funds and 24 provincial natural science funds, which favorably support the development of basic medical science.

Positions

Medical School of University plans to recruit outstanding young talents from all over the world who are interested in major research directions in the field of basic medicine to work in the school. There are four openings at the level of tenure-track associate professor or tenure-track assistant professor (No more than 1 tenure-track associate professor). The candidates are expected to teach and research in the following areas:

(1) Cell biology

(2) New medical interdiscipline

(3) Pathogenic biology

(4) Immunology

(5) Human anatomy and histoembryology

Qualifications

The applicant should

1.abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;

2.abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

3.have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in relevant disciplines, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s). The applicant for tenure-track assistant professor should have engaged in academic research for more than two years after receiving the doctoral degree. The applicant for tenure-track associate professor should have engaged in academic research for more than four years after receiving the doctoral degree.

4.have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;

5.demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
